3. How We Collect Data
- Directly from you — when you register, update your profile, configure settings, or submit a contact form
- Automatically — when you visit our websites, we collect click events, page views, IP addresses, and browser information via our own tracking system and Google Analytics
- From Stripe — when you subscribe, Stripe notifies us of payment events via webhooks. We do not store your full card number or payment details — these are handled entirely by Stripe
- From Binance — when the trading bot is active, we receive real-time position, order, and balance updates from the Binance API using your API key
4. How We Use Your Data
- To provide, operate, and maintain the LiquidationProof platform and trading bot
- To authenticate you and manage your account session
- To execute automated trades on Binance on your behalf using your API key
- To send you trade notifications via your Telegram bot
- To process subscription payments and manage billing through Stripe
- To respond to your support and contact inquiries
- To monitor platform performance, diagnose errors, and improve reliability
- To analyse usage patterns and improve the user experience
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of the platform
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
5. API Key Security
Your Binance API key and secret are among the most sensitive pieces of data we handle. We protect them as follows:
- Encryption at rest: API keys are encrypted using AES-256 via Microsoft Data Protection API before being written to the database. They are never stored as plain text
- Trading permissions only: We require and recommend that you create API keys with trading permissions only — never enable withdrawal permissions on any key used with our Service
- No sharing: Your API credentials are never shared with third parties and are only used to execute trades you have configured through the bot settings
- Revocable: You can delete or revoke your API key on Binance at any time, immediately disabling the bot's access to your account
6. Data Storage & Retention
All user data is stored in a secured SQLite database on our server infrastructure. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing compliance purposes.
Trading logs, subscription events, and contact inquiry records may be retained for up to 2 years for compliance and support purposes.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Stripe (stripe.com) — payment processing and subscription billing. Stripe's Privacy Policy applies to all payment data. We never receive or store your full card details
- Google Analytics (google.com/analytics) — website traffic analysis using cookies and anonymised usage data. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tools
- Binance (binance.com) — cryptocurrency exchange. Your use of Binance is governed by Binance's own Terms and Privacy Policy
- Telegram (telegram.org) — notification delivery. Notifications are sent through your own Telegram bot which you control
8. Cookies & Tracking
We use the following types of cookies and tracking mechanisms:
- Session cookies: Used to maintain your authenticated session on app.liquidationproof.com. These expire when you close your browser or after 8 hours of inactivity
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics sets cookies to track visits and usage patterns. These are anonymised and do not identify you personally
- Session tracking: We assign an anonymous session ID (stored in your browser's sessionStorage) to track your activity within a single browsing session for usage analytics purposes. This ID is not linked to your personal identity unless you are logged in
9. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may disclose your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- To trusted service providers (Stripe, Google Analytics) as described above, who are bound by data protection obligations
- If required by law, court order, or government authority
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of LiquidationProof, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, with appropriate notice to users
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to processing of your data for analytics or marketing purposes
- Withdrawal of consent: You can revoke your Binance API key at any time on Binance, immediately stopping all bot activity
